Logrus has completed localization of Solutions Sharing Network (SSN) portal under a new Microsoft initiative for the government sector. The Russian-language version of the portal was rolled out in Moscow at the third annual conference on Twenty-First Century Government (in Russian).
The localization project, which comprised the entire localization cycle, including creation of a portal resource database, translation of the user interface, generation of localized resources, assembly of the application, deployment of test server configurations, and testing and error correction, was accomplished using a company-developed Web-based distributed bug management database. The Web-based system was created to provide highly qualified localization services for software companies interested in globalizing their solutions.
The Solutions Sharing Network portal (in Russian) is designed for information sharing between government agencies, partners, educational institutions, and developers. It is simultaneously a Web platform that provides access to data and solutions, and a collaborative environment, and a set of tools for finding, evaluating, and cataloging solutions and designs, and also a space open to partners where they can post and demonstrate their solutions and capabilities.
